Position Overview
SURJET is actively seeking an enthusiastic and highly service-oriented Cabin Attendant to join its dynamic team, focusing on large-cabin corporate aircraft operations. This role is critical in ensuring the utmost comfort and satisfaction of passengers through the provision of exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates possess a passion for travel, a commitment to high-quality service delivery, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Base Location: Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE). Candidates must reside within a 1.5-hour driving radius of the base.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
Qualifications Required
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Corporate Cabin Hostess.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of a valid passport, authorizing international travel.
- Authorization to work in the United States and ability to travel to and from the U.S.
- Must hold and maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Reliable personal transportation and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Completion of Corporate Cabin Host safety training from an accredited institution (e.g., FACTS, HRD, Flight Safety, CAPPS).
- Current CPR certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proximity to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is mandatory; relocation assistance is not provided.
- Demonstrated background in customer service.
- Prior experience in hospitality roles such as bartending, waitressing, or hosting is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, including robust problem-solving capabilities and the aptitude to manage challenging situations effectively.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including overnights, extended international trips, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities.
- Physical capacity to carry and lift baggage.
- Ability to maintain a standing or sitting posture for extended periods with limited rest opportunities.
- Willingness to work in an environment with potential exposure to allergens such as peanuts and pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all required duties diligently within the aircraft environment.
- Ensure strict compliance of the aircraft and passengers with all company policies, procedures, regulations, and safety measures.
- Perform all job duties in adherence to established laws, FAA regulations, and company policies.
- Consistently ensure passenger comfort and provide exceptional service that meets and exceeds customer expectations, both pre-flight and in-flight.
- Prepare and serve a range of meals, snacks, and beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
- Coordinate catering arrangements and manage catering retrieval for clients.
- Maintain a consistently well-groomed and professional appearance at all times, serving as a representative of SURJET.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve task objectives.
- Maintain the aircraft cabin, galley, and lavatory in a clean, organized, and well-stocked condition, ensuring an impeccable appearance.
- Thoroughly clean, wipe down, and vacuum the aircraft cabin after each flight segment.
- Independently operate all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems.
- Maintain organized and itemized receipts for invoicing, billing, and expense reporting via Jet Insight.
- Assist with onboard petty cash management, including tracking expenditures, maintaining records, and notifying accounting when funds are low; submit the petty cash log binder to accounting.
- Respond promptly and effectively during emergency situations by executing instructions from the flight deck and adhering strictly to safety and emergency protocols.
- Assist with lifting and stowing baggage and luggage into designated aircraft storage areas as required.
- Undertake other duties and tasks as assigned by Operations, Management, or the Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
