705 First Officer

Position Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 705 First Officer is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of passengers. The primary mandate of this role is to conduct flight operations with a focus on passenger comfort, safety, and strict adherence to on-time performance standards.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Conduct flights in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, the Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual.

Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) in the operation and management of the flight, including the execution of all cockpit procedures.

Perform comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight inspections on behalf of the Captain.

Execute take-offs and landings under the authority of the PIC.

Load, unload, and secure cargo and freight as required.

Perform aircraft fueling duties.

Continuously improve flying skills and knowledge with the objective of future advancement to a Captain position.

Maintain and exceed all Transport Canada qualification standards for pilots.

Perform additional operational duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience, and Certifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Individual Aero plane Type Rating (IATRA) or Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).

Minimum of 500 hours of total flight time.

Valid Category 1 Medical.

Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.

Fluency in English with demonstrated proficiency in verbal communication and listening comprehension.

Ability to obtain and maintain all required transportation security clearances and authorizations.

Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.

Working Conditions
