Job Title: Second In Command (SIC)
The Second In Command (SIC) reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and reports to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight operations. The SIC is responsible for assisting the PIC in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and established company procedures.
Essential Functions

Conduct safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments under Part 135 regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Adhere to all duties and responsibilities outlined in company procedure manuals.

Maintain a current first-class medical certificate and promptly notify the company of any physical or mental conditions that may impair flight duties.

Demonstrate professionalism while coordinating and leading the crew.

Manage passenger relations, including greetings, assistance with seating, luggage storage, briefings, and addressing passenger needs.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

ATP certificate complete.

FAA First Class Medical.

Minimum of 2,000 hours Total Time (Fixed Wing).

Minimum of 200 hours of Multi-Engine Time.

Valid Passport and the ability to obtain/maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada.

Appropriate Type Rating.

Working knowledge of Part 135 Federal Aviation Regulations and thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and international flight operation regulations.

Authorized to work lawfully in the United States with two forms of Federal Identification.

Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including verification of employment, education, and criminal history.

Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing as a safety-sensitive employee per FAA guidelines.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role requires 100% travel while on rotation. The work environment includes exposure to loud noises (jet engines/machinery), outdoor/industrial hangar settings, extreme temperatures, and tight, cramped business aircraft interiors. Physical demands include the ability to see and hear clearly, speak English proficiently, climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and move in tight quarters. Must be able to regularly push/pull up to 70 pounds and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
