Position Summary: Medevac Pilot
Perimeter Medevac is seeking dedicated professional pilots to join our flight operations team. Reporting to the 703/704 Chief Pilot, the Medevac Pilot is responsible for the safe, efficient, and comfortable transport of passengers. Pilots are required to maintain current knowledge of evolving industry regulations and develop an intimate mechanical understanding of the aircraft. As a Transport Canada-approved professional, you will work in close coordination with flight crews and flight followers to ensure the seamless execution of Medevac transfers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Conduct flights in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, the Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual.

Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) with cockpit procedures and flight management.

Perform thorough pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections.

Execute aircraft fueling procedures.

Lift, load, and secure patients, cargo, baggage, and freight.

Provide assistance to medical crews as required.

Deliver passenger briefings in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Actively contribute to the Company’s Safety Management System.

Maintain and exceed Transport Canada qualification standards.

Demonstrate continuous professional growth with the objective of advancing to a Captain position.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Certifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
-
Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
-
Current Category 1 Medical certificate.

Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.

Minimum of 500 hours total flight time.

Canadian citizenship or unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.

Fluency in English with strong verbal and listening comprehension.

Ability to obtain and maintain necessary transportation security clearances.

Successful completion of Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record checks.

Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations.

Valid passport and valid driver’s license.

Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.
