Pentastar Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pilot to operate within a three-pilot crew environment. This role is central to conducting 14 CFR Part 91 operations, primarily utilizing the Gulfstream G500. The successful candidate will also serve in a dual-qualified capacity, performing rotating Second-in-Command (SIC) duties in a Pilatus PC-12 NGX.
The Pilot-in-Command bears the ultimate responsibility for the safety of all passengers and crew, alongside ensuring the comfortable and punctual operation of the aircraft. This includes the comprehensive supervision of the flight crew, meticulously upholding compliance with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations for both flight and ground operations. Key duties involve strategically determining flight routes, optimal speeds, and precise takeoff and landing times to consistently meet stringent scheduling demands. The Pilot-in-Command is empowered to make critical decisions regarding potential delays, necessary rerouting, or flight cancellations to ensure operational integrity. In periods when not actively flying, the incumbent may undertake additional general department duties.
Hiring preference will be extended to candidates possessing a Gulfstream GVII type rating coupled with demonstrable prior experience in this aircraft type. A secondary preference will be given to candidates with established experience operating the Pilatus PC-12 NG/NGX.
This position is based in Waterford, MI. Individuals selected for this role are required to reside within a two-hour commute of Waterford, MI. As a valued pilot for Pentastar Aviation, crew members can anticipate an annual flight time of approximately 250 hours.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
