Aviation Pilot Position
This position requires a dedicated and highly skilled pilot to join our team, providing critical air transportation services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to perform under pressure.
Schedule and Location
- 7 & 7 Schedule: This position operates on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.
- Commute Requirement: Candidates must reside within a one-hour commute of the base location.
Qualifications and Experience
- Current and Qualified on VE7A Certificate: A valid VE7A certificate is mandatory for this role.
- Pilatus PC-24 / Cessna Sovereign 680 Experience: Experience with both Pilatus PC-24 and Cessna Sovereign 680 aircraft is required.
- First Class Medical Certificate: Candidates must hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- CAMTS and Customer Requirements:
- Minimum 3,000 Hours of Flight Time (FW)
- Minimum 1,500 Hours of Pilot In Command (PIC) FW
- Minimum 500 Hours of Multi-Engine FW
- Minimum 250 Hours of Night Flight Time
- Minimum 100 Hours of FW Night Time
- Minimum 200 Hours of Instrument Flight Time
- Minimum 75 Hours of Actual Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC)
- Communication and Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for both internal and external communication with clients and team members.
- Health Requirements:
- Annual Flu Vaccination
- Successful completion of a pre-placement physical exam, including a functional capacity assessment (demonstrating the ability to lift 100 pounds for patient and equipment assistance).
- Passing drug screening and background check.
Preference will be given to pilots currently assigned to the Texas Children's Program.
