Aviation Pilot Position
This position requires a dedicated and experienced pilot to provide safe and efficient air transportation services. The successful candidate will operate a Pilatus PC-24 or Cessna Sovereign 680 aircraft on a 7-day on, 7-day off schedule.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Possess a current and valid VE7A certificate. Preference given to pilots with prior experience in the Texas Children's Program.
- Aircraft Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency and experience operating Pilatus PC-24 and Cessna Sovereign 680 aircraft.
- Medical Certification: Hold a valid First Class Medical Certificate.
- Flight Time: Minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time, including:
- 1,500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
- 500 hours multi-engine experience
- 250 hours night flight time
- 100 hours flight time at night
- 200 hours instrument flight time
- 75 hours actual Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC)
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on internal and external customer service.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-placement physical exam including a functional capacity exam (demonstrating the ability to lift 100 pounds to assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment). A drug screening and background check will be required.
- Other Requirements: Must reside within a 1-hour commute of the base and maintain an annual flu vaccine.
