Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot in Command for a prestigious, long-standing account operating a new Gulfstream G7500 aircraft. Based in Teterboro, NJ (KTEB), this multi-pilot account enjoys the support of a dedicated Maintenance Technician and Flight Attendant.
About the Role:
The Pilot in Command holds the critical responsibility of ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient aircraft operations. This individual will adhere to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an unparalleled service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all crewing and trip assignments adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Meticulously execute flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilize the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead pre-flight briefings and proactively mitigate operational risks.
- Uphold company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate effectively with EJM personnel. Act as the designated Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator.
- Diligently perform pre-flight inspections, including verifying aircraft maintenance status, to guarantee mission readiness. Document any aircraft discrepancies in accordance with SOPs.
- Supervise aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen, etc.) to ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Deliver comprehensive passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations, prioritizing exceptional customer service and accommodating any special passenger needs.
- Masterfully employ Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to ensure clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all phases of flight.
Service Excellence:
- Consistently provide superior service to aircraft owners and passengers, actively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM experience. Promptly address and resolve service deviations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a consistently exceptional experience. Skillfully navigate and resolve any conflicts or challenges.
Professional Development:
- Maintain all regulatory and company-mandated training and recency of experience requirements.
- Actively participate in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and promptly report any safety or compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in corporate/business aviation is essential.
- FAA Type rating in the Gulfstream G7500 is required.
- Proven ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
Minimum Flight Experience:
- Total Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
Compensation:
EJM offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 - $432,000 commensurate with experience.
