A reputable aviation company located in Hyannis, MA, US, is seeking a Captain to lead flight operations. This full-time, regular position reports to the Chief Pilot, responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient cockpit environment and ensuring all flight operations are conducted professionally.

This role involves operations on the Cessna 402 aircraft.
Requirements

Conduct operations in a safe and professional manner.

Maintain vigilance during all phases of flight, avoiding distractions that could compromise safe operation.

Exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist other company personnel, which may include aircraft loading, unloading, and refueling (post-training).

Ensure the flight crew is adequately rested and appropriately attired.

Inspect or supervise pre-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft mechanical and structural soundness, cleanliness, and window condition.

Verify current airworthiness inspections and ensure the aircraft is properly equipped for the flight assignment (e.g., charts, fuel, oil, emergency equipment).

Supervise the Second-in-Command (SIC) to ensure proper flight planning and preparation.

Plan flight assignments, obtaining relevant briefings (weather, NOTAMs, special procedures).

Prepare or supervise the preparation, filing, and closing of flight plans, considering factors like altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, fuel, airport facilities, and navigational aids.

Supervise cargo, baggage, and passenger loading, ensuring weight and balance are within limits and cargo is secured.

Operate the aircraft at safe altitudes, considering turbulence, oxygen requirements, medical needs, and passenger comfort.

Ensure preparation of flight logs, reporting of mechanical irregularities, and recording of maintenance.

Possess comprehensive knowledge of company manuals, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications, flight manuals, and other pertinent instructions.

Ensure compliance with FAR 135.265.

Qualifications
-
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a multi-engine land rating.

First Class Medical Certificate.

Valid passport.

1,500 hours of Total Time.
-
500 hours of Cross-Country Time.
-
250 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
-
100 hours of Night Time.
-
75 hours of Instrument Time.
-
50 hours of Multi-Engine Time.
