About the Role

Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Flight Attendant for an operation based at KTEB. This role demands a flexible, team-oriented individual capable of providing superior, around-the-clock passenger service. The ideal candidate possesses culinary experience and a passion for food, with advanced culinary training being a strong preference. Responsibilities include ensuring passenger safety and comfort through exceptional personal service during flights, greeting passengers, explaining safety equipment, and serving food and beverages.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
• Direct and assist passengers during emergencies.
• Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED.
• Secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations.
• Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations.
• Conduct preflight briefings.
• Ensure all necessary supplies, including food, beverages, and emergency equipment, are sufficient for the flight.
• Shop for passenger-requested flight items.
• Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
• Conduct periodic cabin checks for passenger comfort and cleanliness.
• Complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
• Operate audio and video systems.
• Operate all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
• Operate all galley equipment.
• Operate all cabin features, including configuring seating arrangements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
• First Aid Training Certification.
• 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
• Technologically savvy.
• Flexibility and patience.
• Culinary skills and culinary-specific training.
• Ability to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights.
• Availability to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response if on Standby).
• Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.
• Ability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Vision correctable to 20/20.
• Ability to read reports, charts, manage paperwork, and use electronic devices.
• Clear speaking ability and adequate hearing for effective communication.
• Physically capable of walking and standing for extended periods, potentially up to 14 hours.
• Ability to work long hours in various climates.
• Ability to kneel in the luggage compartment and maneuver in tight confinements.
• Ability to push/pull the main cabin door (up to 130 pounds).
• Ability to write, type, use a computer and phone, and prepare/serve food and beverages.
• Ability to lift supplies weighing approximately 25-30 pounds repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar is preferred.
• Annual recurrent training is required.
• Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered but must attend initial training before flight assignment.
• Preference given to candidates with recent (within 12 months) FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.
• Experience with small children is preferred.
