Quest Diagnostics is seeking a qualified First Officer to support medical specimen transportation operations via company aircraft. This regular full-time, on-site role is based in Dallas, Texas, and involves assisting the Captain in all flight operations, including preflight, enroute, and post-flight duties, as well as specimen handling and loading/unloading in accordance with company policies and the aircraft's approved flight manual. The First Officer position offers a development path towards a Captain's role.
About the Role

Assists the Captain in the preparation and execution of safe and efficient ground and flight operations.

Serves as the primary safety monitor during flights and is prepared to assume Pilot in Command (PIC) duties if the Captain is incapacitated.

Maintains a strong service-oriented attitude, prioritizing customer needs, comfort, and safety.

Fosters positive, team-oriented relationships with Flight Operations colleagues.

Provides support with Route Service Coordinator duties as required.
Requirements

Minimum 250 hours of total flight time.

Commercial pilot license with multiengine and single engine ratings, including an instrument rating.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Capacity to sit for extended periods.
Qualifications

Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), relevant government regulations (e.g., Part ยง 91, 67, 61), and air transportation policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and professional piloting skill.
