About the Role
Quest Diagnostics seeks a diligent First Officer to support the Captain in the transportation of medical specimens via company aircraft. This role involves assisting with all flight phases, including pre-flight, en-route, and post-flight operations, as well as the secure loading and unloading of specimens in accordance with company policies and the aircraft's flight manual. The First Officer will also focus on professional development, aiming to transition into a Captain's position.

Requirements

Minimum of 250 total flight hours.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Commercial Pilot License with multiengine and single engine ratings, and an instrument rating.

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Capacity to sit for extended periods.

Maintained knowledge of the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM), and relevant government regulations (e.g., Part 91, 67, 61, and the Aeronautical Information Manual - AIM).

About the Role
The First Officer's responsibilities include assisting the Captain with safe and efficient ground and flight operations. This position serves as the primary safety monitor during flights, with the readiness to assume Pilot in Command (PIC) duties if the Captain is incapacitated. The role also requires maintaining a high level of customer service for passenger needs, comfort, and safety, alongside fostering positive relationships with Flight Operations colleagues. Assistance with Route Service Coordinator duties may also be required.
