Pilot Position - Embraer EMB-550
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, is seeking a qualified Pilot to join its team based in Evansville, Indiana (EVV). Purpose of the Position:
This is a two-pilot position flying a Embraer EMB-550 aircraft under Part 91 regulations. The role involves an average of 250 flight hours annually, primarily consisting of single-day trips with occasional overnights. The majority of flights are scheduled on weekdays and booked well in advance. Due to the location, the successful candidate will be required to reside within a reasonable driving distance of EVV airport.
The Pilot in Command (PIC) holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
- Confirming crew and trip assignments comply with company and regulatory standards.
- Conducting thorough flight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance assessments for each assignment.
- Leading required briefings using Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Adhering to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinating with company personnel as necessary. Acting as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completing all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying the maintenance status of the aircraft to ensure mission capability. Recording all discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitoring and ensuring all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are completed according to SOPs.
- Delivering passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations. Providing the highest level of customer service and accommodating any special needs of passengers.
- Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to maintain clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all operational phases.
Delivering Exceptional Service Experience:
- Providing high-quality service to aircraft owners and passengers while identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Regularly investigating and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborating with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience for owners and passengers. Effectively resolving conflict and challenges.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintaining regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complying with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certification
- First Class Medical Certificate
- 4-6 Years of Flight Experience
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type Rating in applicable fleet
- Ability to perform all essential functions of the position
- Meeting the following minimum time requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
