Captain - Aviation Operations

Exelon is seeking a highly qualified Captain to join its Aviation Operations team. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flights, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and foreign regulations, as well as the Aviation Operations Manual.

Primary Duties

  • Maintain working knowledge of all applicable CFRs, the AIM, AFM, and the Exelon AOM.
  • Conduct flights in accordance with the Exelon AOM and applicable governing regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, immigration, and cabotage laws.
  • Maintain updated and adequately charged iPads for assigned flights.
  • Confirm and communicate any nonstandard local environmental rules and procedures at destination and en route airports to the flight crew.
  • Complete all pre-flight and post-flight duties in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assume duties delegated by the Chief Pilot.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
  • Current First Class FAA Medical certificate.
  • Total Flight Time: 3,000 hours.
  • Pilot in Command Time: 1,500 hours.
  • Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1,500 hours.
  • Multi-Engine Pilot in Command Time: 1,000 hours.
  • Turbine Flight Time: 1,000 hours.
  • Turbine Pilot in Command Time: 500 hours.
  • Valid Passport with no international travel restrictions.
  • FAA Pilot record free of violations or enforcements.
  • Flexibility and availability to work weekdays, nights, and weekends as required.
  • Reside within two hours of DPA Airport or be willing to relocate.
  • Ability to successfully pass Exelon's psychological assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift 40 pounds to shoulder level for baggage loading and unloading.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • DA-2EASy Type Rating or DA-6X Type Rating.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Prior Corporate Aviation Experience.
  • International Operations Experience.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $164,000.00 - $225,500.00 (based on skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors).
