First Officer / Airline Pilot

Position Summary

The organization is actively seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals for the role of Airline First Officer. This pivotal position demands exceptional airmanship, a steadfast commitment to safety, and a collaborative approach to flight operations. The First Officer is instrumental in ensuring the secure, efficient, and compliant execution of flights, rigorously adhering to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company standard operating procedures.

Key Qualifications and Requirements

Education

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent is a fundamental requirement for this position.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Candidates must possess a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or a Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) certificate.
  • A current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
  • An FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit is required.

Flight Experience and Skill Set (KSAOs)

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Candidates must possess or meet the comprehensive requirements for an FAA ATP or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate with a multi-engine rating, in strict accordance with 14 CFR Part 61.160.
  • Required total flight time experience includes meeting one of the following criteria:
    • 1,500 hours of total flight time.
    • 1,250 hours of total flight time with an appropriate university Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate (e.g., Bachelor's degree in aviation).
    • 1,000 hours of total flight time with military pilot qualification.
    • 1,000 hours of total flight time with an appropriate university Restricted ATP (R-ATP) certificate (e.g., Associate's degree in aviation or specific professional certificate program).
  • A minimum of 200 hours of cross-country flight time (defined as flights greater than 50 nautical miles).
  • A minimum of 250 hours of fixed-wing Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
  • A minimum of 100 hours of night flying, or alternatively, 75 hours of night flying which includes at least 45 night takeoffs and landings.
  • A minimum of 75 hours of instrument time (encompassing actual or simulated in-flight conditions, excluding simulator time).
  • A minimum of 50 hours of fixed-wing, multi-engine time.
  • Completion of the ATP written examination is a mandatory prerequisite prior to the commencement of Indoctrination Training.

General Requirements

  • The successful candidate must hold a valid passport and maintain the ability to travel internationally without any restrictions.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and the ability to travel in and out of the country without restriction are essential.
