Captain/First Officer - Corporate Aviation (Beech 1900D)

Marvin invites applications for the position of Captain or First Officer to join its well-established corporate flight department. Operating a Beech 1900D aircraft, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to become part of a family-owned company with a corporate flight history spanning over 47 years. The department places paramount importance on safety, customer service, and operational excellence in all flight activities.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing critical flight operations and duties, including:

  • Performing thorough pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections.
  • Filing and reviewing comprehensive flight plans and evaluating current weather conditions.
  • Supervising and ensuring proper aircraft servicing.
  • Assuming assigned flight duties as Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC).
  • Actively participating in the department's Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Reporting all aircraft maintenance discrepancies accurately and promptly.
  • Strictly adhering to company and manufacturer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot.

Compensation:

The annual salary range for this position is $118,000 - $158,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

Prospective candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Hold a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Multi-Engine Land rating.
  • Possess a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Ability to obtain the required PIC or SIC type rating for the Beech 1900D (BE-1900D) aircraft.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a flexible and variable schedule.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be customer service oriented, upholding high standards of passenger experience.
  • Hold a valid Passport with no travel restrictions and a valid Driver’s License.
  • Be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Possess the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean record, free from accidents or violations.
  • Availability for occasional weekend duty as required.

Required Flight Time Experience:

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

  • For Captain:
    • Minimum 3000 total flight hours.
    • Minimum 500 turbine flight hours.
  • For First Officer:
    • Minimum 1500 total flight hours.
    • Minimum 350 multi-engine flight hours.
    • Minimum 100 instrument flight hours.
