Job Title: Pilot in Command (PIC)

Lowe’s Aviation is seeking a professional and safety-focused Pilot in Command (PIC) to join our flight operations team. The PIC holds final authority for the safe and efficient operation of assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exercise final authority for aircraft operation, including administrative and operational oversight of all assigned crew members.
  • Ensure all flight operations adhere to Lowe’s Aviation Operations Manual, CFRs, foreign regulations, and company policy.
  • Oversee aircraft airworthiness, registration, documentation, database currency, and EFB readiness.
  • Conduct comprehensive flight planning, including weather/NOTAM analysis, fuel/oil/oxygen calculations, and weight and balance determinations.
  • Verify crew certification, medical eligibility, and fitness for duty; manage passenger safety briefings and preflight inspections.
  • Operate aircraft in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and established limitations.
  • Monitor fuel reserves and maintain effective communication with ATC during normal and abnormal operations.
  • Manage international operational requirements, including customs, immigration, and cabotage law compliance.
  • Execute all postflight duties, including reporting flight times, documenting defects, and communicating schedule deviations.
  • Perform mandatory reporting for incidents, accidents, hazardous weather, or unlawful interference to appropriate authorities.
  • Participate in the Safety Management System and contribute to functional areas within the Aviation department, such as Training, Standards, Data Management, International Operations, or Security.

Required Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
  • Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in aircraft of similar type and complexity (if not G-VII type rated).
  • Professional experience in corporate aviation.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • G-VII type rating.
