Job Description

Fiji Airways, headquartered in Nadi, Fiji, is actively recruiting qualified and type-rated B737NG and MAX First Officers. The airline operates a modern fleet including A330, A350, and B737NG/MAX aircraft, serving key international destinations across the New Zealand, Pacific, North American, Asian, and Australian regions.

Contract Details and Benefits

This exciting opportunity offers a 3-year renewable contract, specifically designed to be attractive to pilots based in Australia and New Zealand. Fiji Airways provides commuting tickets between the pilot's contract base and Nadi for the commencement of duty. In addition to competitive compensation, successful candidates will receive the following benefits:

• Monthly accommodation allowance: NZD2,240
• Monthly overtime payment for block hours exceeding 70: paid at 125% of the hourly rate.
• Flight duty pay: NZD10 per block hour.
• A guaranteed block of 10 days off per month.
• 3-year contract term.
• 24 days of annual leave per year.
• 12 days of sick leave per year.
• Emergency medical insurance coverage provided by Longreach.
• Discounted travel for the pilot and their immediate family members on Fiji Airways flights.

Salary Information

First Officer Remuneration (based on 70 block hours per month):

• Monthly Payment (Year 1): NZD10,208
• Accommodation Allowance: NZD2,240

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours.
• A minimum of 250 flight hours on the B737NG/MAX aircraft type.
• Hold a current and valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Must have operated without restriction for the past 2 years.
• Possess a current and valid B737NG/MAX type rating.
• Hold a current First Class Medical Certificate issued by an ICAO member state.
• Maintain a current and unrestricted Instrument Rating.
• ICAO English language proficiency level 5 or higher.
• Possess a current and valid passport.
• Must have no criminal record.
• Must have no history of flight accidents or incidents.
