HEMS Pilot - Norwich, Norfolk
A leading provider of mission-critical helicopter services to the air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors seeks a highly skilled and experienced HEMS Pilot. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Norwich, Norfolk. The successful candidate will be operating the H145 D3, undertaking varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines, including HEMS and NVIS operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operating the H145 D3 aircraft in HEMS and NVIS operations.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 1000 hours pilot in command of aircraft, including 500 hours pilot in command on twin-turbine helicopters. OR 1000 hours as co-pilot in HEMS operations, including 500 hours as pilot in command under supervision and 100 hours pilot in command of twin-turbine helicopters.
- Minimum 2000 hours total helicopter experience.
- 500 hours operating experience in twin-turbine helicopters in an operational environment similar to the intended operation.
- 20 hours VMC at night as pilot in command.
- Current or recent HEMS experience.
- Experience with Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
- Must be able to achieve SC clearance.
Qualifications Required:
- Hold a UK ATPL(H).
- Fluent English, Driving License, Passport, and Right to Work in the UK.
- Qualified and instrument rated on the EC145.
