A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Airline Pilot Careers Adviser to join our busy team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and customer service skills to support the sales process of the airline pilot careers programmes during a period of expected growth.

About the role:

  • Liaising with the selection team to actively monitor applications for our programmes to maximise numbers being booked onto online or full assessment. Assist in closing the sales enrolment activity with new cadets. This role will involve the daily interaction with aspiring airline pilots, their sponsors and family members through all forms of communication including face to face visits. You will provide advice and guidance for our programmes and be there to encourage them to take their next steps. As part of the careers advice team you will develop strong relationships with our customers and will need to possess the confidence to handle all enquiries in a calm and professional manner. Working closely with the team to ensure our targets are achieved.

Day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Capture and enrolment of our future cadets via regular dialogue, application of discount mechanisms and selling the airline pilot career prospect
  • Undertake follow-up calls to future cadets who have not completed applications, booked on or attended assessments to encourage them to take the next steps.
  • Primary point of contact for customer enquiries through email, telephone, face to face meetings, careers events.
  • Ensure all customer enquiries are dealt with to an exceptional standard promptly and efficiently, providing accurate information on all relevant programmes.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with all applicants and their sponsors.
  • Participate in our careers events and one to one customer visits.
  • Follow GDPR guidelines to maintain customer confidentiality.
  • Ensure communication through all media is logged accordingly adhering to GDPR at all times.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in enrolment or recruitment activity
  • Previous consumer sales or business development experience in an office environment
  • Educated to GCSE English and Maths level A-C (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work in a busy dynamic environment and work to tight deadlines
  • Work in partnership with other team members engendering a team spirit of support and co-operation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a flexible and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when recording information.
  • Professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with technology, various IT packages in particular MS Office (Excel, Word)

Additional information :

This role is full time 40 hours per week

Flexible working based 3 days in the office per week

Based in Whiteley with monthly travel to London Training Centre, Crawley

Some work at weekends/evenings on a rostered basis

Occasional travel to Europe to attend events
