Draken International is actively seeking qualified and motivated aviation professionals to join its esteemed team. This presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals possessing a robust aviation background to contribute to a dynamic and demanding operational environment.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 1,000 hours of total flight time is required.
- Type Rating: Specific type ratings are not mandated, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Flight Time Specialization: A minimum of 1,000 hours of flight time on fast-jet aircraft is highly desirable.
- Preferred Experience: Recent military fast-jet flying experience within the last six years is highly desirable. Completion of a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course is also considered desirable.
- Required Licenses: Candidates must possess a Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Engine (ME) rating, and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) certification.
- License Acceptance: Applications are welcomed from holders of EASA, FAA, ICAO, and UK CAA licenses.
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 Medical certificate is mandatory.
- English Language Proficiency: An ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 4 or higher is required.
- Operational Adaptability: Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to complete UK CAA Licence Validation for G-reg aircraft. A deep understanding of customer operational needs and platform capabilities is essential.
- Security and Nationality: Due to the nature of security clearances and visa requirements, nationality restrictions may apply.
- Additional Desirable Attributes: Being a Qualified Weapons Instructor or Flying Instructor is highly desirable. Experience operating single-seat, radar-equipped air-to-air platforms is also highly desirable. Familiarity with civil aviation environments and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools are considered desirable.
