King Air 200 Captain | Rotational Northern Operations
An exceptional career opportunity is available for a highly qualified and safety-focused King Air 200 Captain to join a dedicated team supporting essential northern operations.
The role is strategically based out of CYWG (Winnipeg) and involves routine rotational assignments servicing remote communities in Nunavut. This position operates on a highly desirable, consistent 2-Weeks-ON / 2-Weeks-OFF rotational schedule.
Minimum Operational Requirements
The successful candidate must meet or exceed the following mandatory flight experience and certification criteria:
- Licensing: Possesses a valid Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Ratings: Holds a Group 1 Multi-Engine Instrument Flight Rules (ME IFR) Rating.
- Medical: Maintains a current Transport Canada Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- Flight Time: Minimum of 2,000 hours Total Time (TT).
- Command Time: Minimum of 500 hours Multi-Pilot-in-Command (MPIC) experience.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes
Beyond technical proficiency, the Captain must demonstrate strong professionalism, compliance, and suitability for remote operational environments:
- Northern Experience: Must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of, and experience in, geographically remote Canadian operating locations, including Nunavut.
- Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of all pertinent aviation regulations and standards necessary to execute the duties and responsibilities of a Pilot-in-Command.
- Communication: Must be fluent and proficient in English, demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exhibits strong teamwork capabilities and exceptional interpersonal skills crucial for successful rotational crew integration.
- Travel Documents: Possesses a valid Canadian Passport and is legally able to enter the United States for training or operational requirements.
- Security Clearances: Must successfully provide clear checks from Criminal Records, the Child Abuse Registry, and Vulnerable Sectors.
- Health Compliance: Must be fully vaccinated with a Canadian-approved COVID-19 vaccination.
