Based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, this role offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced aviation professional to join a dynamic flight operations team.
The Captain is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of company aircraft. This pivotal role ensures the highest standards of flight safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional passenger experience are consistently met. The Captain maintains command authority for all assigned flights, overseeing pre-flight planning, in-flight execution, and post-flight procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned business aviation flights, adhering to all Transport Canada regulations, company policies, and international aviation standards.
- Ensures the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew members throughout the flight duration.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight briefings, including weather analysis, NOTAMs, flight planning, and risk assessments.
- Manages in-flight operations, including navigation, communication, and systems monitoring, maintaining situational awareness at all times.
- Performs professional and timely post-flight duties, including debriefings, documentation, and reporting.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, effective crew resource management (CRM), and sound decision-making abilities.
- Maintains a high level of proficiency and current certifications relevant to the aircraft type operated.
- Fosters a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement within flight operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or equivalent, with appropriate ratings.
- Extensive experience as a Captain / Pilot in Command in business or commercial aviation.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of aviation safety standards, flight regulations, and operational procedures.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to dynamic operational requirements.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
