Position Overview

Key Responsibilities and Operations

The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient flight operations of a state-of-the-art Gulfstream GV aircraft, operating under Part 91 regulations. This role involves an estimated annual flight time of approximately 350 to 400 hours. The successful candidate will ensure meticulous adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company operations manuals, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate a profound commitment to aviation safety and operational precision. The following qualifications are essential:

• A minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time.
• A minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
• A minimum of 1,000 hours of Turbine time.
• Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• Gulfstream Type Certification (G-V) is preferred, with a minimum of 200 hours in type. However, highly qualified PIC candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered.
• Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
• Must be able to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and comprehensive background checks, and submit to random drug/alcohol tests when required. This position is classified as safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.
• Full compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures.

Location and Relocation

This position is strictly based in Van Nuys, California, and is not a commutable position. Applicants must currently reside within a two-hour drivable commute distance of Van Nuys or be willing to relocate to satisfy this critical requirement.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual Compensation: $340,000 to $375,000.
