The Captain (705 Operations) reports directly to the Assistant Chief Pilot, holding a critical role in the safe and efficient transport of thousands of passengers annually. Key Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft safely and efficiently, strictly adhering to all regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures.
- Prioritize the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers and crew members during every flight.
- Ensure exemplary on-time performance for all scheduled operations, contributing to operational efficiency.
- Maintain full compliance with all Transport Canada regulations and industry best practices for commercial aviation.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making, effective communication, and strong leadership in all aspects of flight operations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a valid Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Current Group 1 Multi-Engine (ME) Instrument Rating.
- Valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 3000 hours total flight time.
- A minimum of 2500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
- A minimum of 500 hours Multi-Engine Command time.
Candidate Profile
- Fluent in English, demonstrating effective verbal communication and listening comprehension skills.
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain all necessary transportation and security clearances and authorizations.
Desirable Asset
Completion of Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training will be considered a valuable asset for this position.
