Captain (703/704 Operations)
The Captain (703/704 Operations) serves as a critical member of the flight crew, tasked with ensuring the safe and efficient transport of thousands of passengers annually. Reporting directly to the Assistant Chief Pilot, this role is paramount in upholding the highest standards of operational safety, prioritizing passenger comfort, and achieving exceptional on-time performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all flights safely and efficiently, strictly adhering to regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the comfort and well-being of all passengers throughout the flight duration.
- Maintain an outstanding record of on-time performance and operational reliability.
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership and professionalism in all aspects of flight operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possession of a valid Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- A current and valid Group 1 Instrument Rating.
- Hold a valid Category 1 Medical Certificate.
- A minimum of 500 hours of flight experience on turbine-powered aircraft.
Essential Attributes
- Demonstrated fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Proven effective verbal communication and listening comprehension skills.
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain all necessary transportation and security clearances and authorizations.
Desirable Asset
Completion of Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training will be considered a valuable asset.
