Key Responsibilities of the Citation Ultra Captain

Serves as a Captain on the Citation Ultra aircraft, operating primarily from Toronto.
Ensures all flights are conducted with the utmost safety and in strict adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
Provides essential support for daily operational activities during available reserve days.
Liaises effectively with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to guarantee seamless delivery of all operational and service requirements.
Fosters a highly collaborative environment, encouraging colleagues to share ideas, improvements, and solutions for enhanced team performance.
Delivers exceptional direct customer service, ensuring an outstanding and memorable client experience on every flight.
Completes all required monthly training courses and performs other assigned duties as necessary to support flight operations.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will bring a robust set of qualifications and attributes, including:

A valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
Possession of a Group 1 Multi-Engine Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) rating.
A current and valid Transport Canada Medical Certificate.
A valid Canadian Radio Telephone Operator Certificate.
A minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time.
A minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on multi-engine aircraft; experience with similar aircraft types is highly preferred.
A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is considered an asset.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Proficiency and hands-on experience with flight management systems (FMS) and glass cockpit technology.
Comprehensive understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance principles.
Expert knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and Safety Management System (SMS) safety practices.
Possesses a positive mindset with a strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across all organizational levels.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exhibits exceptional client service, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule to effectively support clients’ operational needs.
