Key Responsibilities of the Citation Ultra Captain
As a Captain for the Citation Ultra aircraft, based in Toronto, the successful candidate will be entrusted with paramount responsibilities integral to Chartright Air Group's operational integrity and exceptional service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as Captain on the Citation Ultra aircraft, ensuring adherence to all operational protocols and safety standards.
- Guiding flight operations with an unwavering commitment to safety, prioritizing the well-being of passengers and crew.
- Providing essential support for daily operational activities during available reserve days.
- Collaborating closely with Chartright's Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to meticulously fulfill all operational and service requirements.
- Cultivating an environment of open communication and teamwork, actively encouraging the exchange of ideas, improvements, and solutions among colleagues.
- Delivering direct, superior customer service to clients, thereby enhancing their overall private jet experience.
- Participating in mandatory monthly training courses and undertaking additional duties as required to support the company's objectives.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Prospective candidates for this distinguished Captain position are expected to possess an exceptional blend of qualifications, experience, and professional attributes. Essential requirements include:
- A valid Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating.
- A current Transport Canada Medical certificate.
- A valid Canadian Radio Telephone License.
- A minimum of 1500 hours total flight time.
- At least 500 multi-engine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours; experience with similar aircraft types is highly preferred.
- A University degree or College diploma in Aviation is considered an asset.
- The physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with advanced flight management systems and glass cockpits.
- A robust understanding of aviation weather phenomena, airport performance characteristics, comprehensive flight plan calculations, meticulous fuel planning, and precise weight and balance principles.
- Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and proven proficiency in Safety Management System (SMS) practices.
- Possession of a positive mindset, coupled with a strong ability to foster collaborative relationships and work effectively across diverse organizational teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior client service acumen, organizational proficiency, and adept prioritization skills.
- The flexibility to work a variable schedule to accommodate client needs and operational demands.
