Second in Command – Hawker 900XP
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command for its Midsize jet aircraft, a Hawker 900XP, to support Part 91 and 135 flight operations based in Naples, Florida. The successful candidate will reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Naples area, ensuring availability within a two-hour call-out time from the home base. This is a full-time position.
Position Summary:
The Second in Command (SIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and assists in the preparation and execution of safe and efficient flight operations in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 100 hours
- Instrument Time: 150 hours
Essential Functions:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company and CFR requirements.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstrate strong and proactive decision-making skills.
- Represent Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Current passport.
- ATP (ability to obtain ATP).
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- The majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
