Second in Command - Heavy Jet (Part 91 / 135)
A leading aviation operator is seeking highly qualified candidates for the position of Second in Command (SIC) aboard its heavy jet aircraft. This role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations.
The Second in Command is responsible for supporting safe and efficient flight operations. Key duties include:
- Managing duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company policies and applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintaining consistent communication with company dispatch and management regarding standby assignments, trip details, flight following, and pre- and post-flight reporting.
- Managing and maintaining Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.
Minimum Flight Time Qualifications:
- Total Flight Time: 2500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 500 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 100 hours
The candidate must currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 2-hour call-out radius of the designated home base.
