G200 Pilot in Command (PIC) - Executive Jet Management (KFTW Based)
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, seeks a qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a G200 aircraft based at KFTW (Dallas-Fort Worth area). As a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, EJM offers unrivaled resources and operational stability within the world's largest private aviation infrastructure. This position is part of a 3-pilot account, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician. The aircraft operates under EJM’s P135 certificate and flies approximately 450 hours per year. The pilot must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. He complies with all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Safe Operation of Flight:
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments comply with all relevant company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates effectively with company personnel. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes thorough aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying the maintenance status, to ensure mission capability. Records all aircraft discrepancies according to company SOPs.
- Ensures all aircraft ground servicing requirements (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are monitored and completed in accordance with SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings according to company policy and regulation, delivering the highest level of customer service and addressing any special passenger needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides outstanding service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Investigates and resolves service deviations promptly and effectively.
- Collaborates with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent and exceptional service experience for owners and passengers. Resolves conflicts and challenges professionally.
- Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains all regulatory and company-required training and currency requirements.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, reporting safety concerns and non-compliance issues through the appropriate channels.
Years of Experience:
4-6 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is essential.
- FAA Type rating G200 (preferred).
- Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position.
- Preference will be given to local candidates.
- Must meet the following minimum requirements for PIC:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- ATP License
