G200 Pilot in Command - Executive Jet Management (KFTW Based)
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, seeks a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a G200 based at KFTW (Dallas-Fort Worth area). As a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, EJM offers unrivaled resources and operational stability.
This position is for a three-pilot account, complemented by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, with two pilots already in place. The aircraft operates under EJM's Part 135 certificate, flying approximately 450 hours annually. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. He complies with all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring Safe Operation of Flight:
- Ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes flight planning, performance, and weight and balance tasks.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel. Acts as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including verifying the maintenance status. Records all aircraft discrepancies per SOPs.
- Ensures all aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen) is monitored and completed per SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations, catering to special needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear and timely communication during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides quality service to owners and passengers, identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience and resolving service deviations.
- Collaborates with crew members and EJM partners to provide consistent service, resolving conflict and challenges effectively.
- Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reports safety or non-compliance concerns.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation
- FAA Type rating G200 (preferred)
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position
- Preference will be given to local candidates
Minimum PIC Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- ATP License
