Executive Jet Management, a subsidiary of NetJets and a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a G200 aircraft based at KFTW. This position is part of a three-pilot team supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician. The aircraft operates under EJM's Part 135 certificate and is projected to fly approximately 450 hours annually. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft, adhering to all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience. The pilot must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities:

The Pilot in Command is entrusted with the ultimate responsibility for the safe conduct of each flight. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring crew assignments comply with all company and regulatory standards.
  • Performing thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance assessments.
  • Leading pre-flight briefings utilizing a Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to proactively mitigate operational risks.
  • Strict adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), coordinating with company personnel as needed. Acting as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as per company policy.
  • Completing comprehensive aircraft pre-flight checks, including verifying the maintenance status and ensuring mission readiness. Reporting any discrepancies according to company SOPs.
  • Monitoring and ensuring all aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen, etc.) is performed in accordance with SOPs.
  • Delivering passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations. Providing the highest level of customer service and accommodating any special passenger needs.
  • Utilizing Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to communicate effectively with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.

The Pilot in Command will strive to deliver an exceptional service experience by:

  • Providing exceptional service to aircraft owners and passengers, actively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience, and resolving any service deviations.
  • Collaborating effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent service experience for all clients, while also demonstrating conflict resolution skills.

The Pilot in Command is expected to maintain the highest standards of proficiency and compliance:

  • Maintaining all regulatory and company-required training and ensuring recency of experience.
  • Complying with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting all safety concerns or non-compliance issues through appropriate channels.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate/business aviation.
  • FAA Type rating for the G200 (preferred).
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.
  • Must meet the following minimum PIC flight time requirements:
    • Total flight time: 3500 hours
    • Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
    • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
    • PIC MEL: 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours
    • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License
