Pilot in Command – Gulfstream G200

Jet Linx is actively recruiting highly qualified candidates for the role of Pilot in Command (PIC) for its Super Midsize jet aircraft. This full-time position supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Prospective candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of the aircraft's base, or be willing to relocate accordingly.
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft in strict adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures. The PIC plays a crucial role in preparing for and executing all flight operations.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total PIC in Type (Gulfstream G200): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Flight Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Flight Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Essential Functions
- Proactively manage duty, flight, and rest times to comply with company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
- Maintain effective communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight briefings.
- Manage and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and readily accessible.
- Maintain a current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Exhibit strong, proactive decision-making capabilities in all operational scenarios.
- Demonstrate and uphold Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements
- Preference will be given to candidates with initial or recurrent 142 training in the Gulfstream G200 within the last 24 months.
- Possession of a valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States must be provided.
- A current and valid passport is mandatory.
- An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one is required.
- A current First-Class Medical Certificate is essential.
- A Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Restricted Radio License is necessary.
- Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and be willing to submit to random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all European Union (EU), Canadian, and Caribbean countries is required.
- Candidates must be able to authorize and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review conducted by a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The role involves significant time spent in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- The ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds is required.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000. The final salary determination will be based on the candidate's geographic location, the specific aircraft type, relevant education, training, and experience. The benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
