Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G200
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company and a subsidiary of NetJets, seeks a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Gulfstream G200 based at KFTW in Fort Worth, TX. As a pioneer in aircraft management and worldwide jet charter services since 1977, EJM offers unrivaled resources and operational stability. The successful candidate will join a 3-pilot account, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician. The aircraft operates under EJM's P135 certificate with approximately 450 flight hours per year. Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area is required.
The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. He or she complies with all company and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional service experience to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the safe operation of each flight, adhering to all company and regulatory requirements.
- Completes thorough flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks.
- Leads comprehensive briefings using Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and collaborates with company personnel.
- Acts as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator according to company policy.
- Completes all pre-flight aircraft checks, including maintenance status verification, to ensure mission readiness.
- Records all aircraft discrepancies accurately, following company SOPs.
- Ensures proper monitoring and completion of aircraft ground servicing, including fueling, oil, and oxygen.
- Conducts passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulations.
- Delivers exceptional customer service, catering to passengers' needs.
- Utilizes Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) for clear communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
- Provides exceptional service to owners and passengers, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM experience.
- Investigates and resolves service deviations effectively.
- Collaborates with crew members and EJM internal partners to deliver a consistent service experience.
- Resolves conflicts and challenges constructively.
- Maintains regulatory and company-required training and currency.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) and reports safety or non-compliance concerns.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of aviation experience.
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation is highly desirable.
- FAA Type rating for the G200 is preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Preference will be given to local candidates.
- Must meet the following minimum Pilot in Command (PIC) time requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- ATP License
