Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G200
Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for a Gulfstream G200 based at KFTW (Fort Worth, TX). This is an opportunity to join a dedicated 3-pilot account, supported by a Maintenance Technician, operating an aircraft on EJM's Part 135 certificate, flying approximately 400-450 hours per year. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to be considered.

The Role of the Pilot in Command
The Pilot in Command holds the ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC is tasked with adhering to all company standards and regulatory requirements while simultaneously providing an exceptional service experience to passengers.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring the Safe Operation of Flight:
- Ensures compliance with company and regulatory requirements for crew scheduling and trip assignments.
- Completes required flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each flight.
- Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead briefings and mitigate operational risks effectively.
- Complies with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates with company personnel as necessary.
- Acts as the Ground Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
- Completes all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including assessing the aircraft's maintenance status, to ensure mission readiness.
- Records all aircraft discrepancies following company SOPs.
- Monitors and ensures all aircraft ground servicing (fueling, oil, oxygen, etc.) is accomplished according to SOPs.
- Conducts passenger briefings in line with company policy and regulations, delivering high-level customer service and accommodating special passenger needs.
- Applies Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles for clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during all phases of flight.
Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provides quality service to aircraft owners and passengers, actively seeking opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Investigates and resolves service deviations as they arise.
- Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and internal EJM partners to maintain a consistent service experience.
- Resolves conflicts and challenges constructively.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintains all required regulatory and company training and ensures recency of experience is current.
- Complies with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program, reporting safety or non-compliance concerns through established channels.
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 4-6 years of aviation experience is required.
- Candidates should possess prior experience in corporate or business aviation.
- An FAA Type rating on the G200 is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Preference will be given to local candidates residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
- Must meet the minimum requirements for PIC listed below.
Minimum PIC Flight Time Requirements:
- Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- Must hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License.
