Second in Command – Gulfstream G200

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command to join their team, operating a Super Midsize jet aircraft for both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This is a full-time position based in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate should reside, or be prepared to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the home base.

Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Second in Command is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This is to be achieved while adhering to the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1500 hours total flight time
  • 500 hours total Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
  • 500 hours total multi-engine flight time
  • 100 hours total turbine flight time
  • 150 hours total instrument flight time

Essential Functions:

  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company policies and CFRs.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position reports, and pre- and post-flight reports.
  • Maintain and manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
  • Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current.
  • Maintain a current First Class medical certificate.
  • Demonstrate strong, proactive decision-making skills.
  • Embody Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.

Other Requirements:

  • Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
  • Current passport.
  • Airline Transport Pilot certificate (ATP) or the ability to obtain one.
  • First Class Medical certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radio License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Ability to successfully complete an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
  • Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
