Pilot in Command - Gulfstream G200 (Full-Time - Austin, TX)
Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command to join our team and operate our Super Midsize jet aircraft for both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside, or be willing to relocate, within a 2-hour response time of the Austin, TX home base.
Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command (PIC) is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This includes adherence to all Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
- Multi-Crew Time: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine: 1,000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1,000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC: 1,000 hours
- Total Instrument: 300 hours
- Total Jet: 1,500 hours
- Total Jet PIC: 500 hours
Essential Functions:
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times in strict compliance with both company policy and CFRs.
- Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Efficiently manage electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensure all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are up-to-date.
- Maintain a current First Class medical certificate.
- Exhibit strong and proactive decision-making skills.
- Consistently demonstrate Jet Linx's core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- ATP (or the ability to obtain an ATP).
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and willingness to submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- The majority of work is conducted in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
