Second in Command (SIC) - Gulfstream G200

Jet Linx is currently seeking qualified Second in Command (SIC) candidates for Super Midsize jet aircraft operations under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. The successful candidate must reside within a 2-hour call-out time of their designated home base or be willing to relocate.
Position Summary
The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The SIC is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements

Total Time: 1,500 hours

Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours

Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours

Total Turbine: 100 hours

Total Instrument: 150 hours

ATP License (Unrestricted)

First Class Medical Certificate

FCC Restricted Radio License

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Current passport and unrestricted ability to travel to the EU, Canada, and the Caribbean

Ability to obtain a U.S. driver’s license

Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review
Essential Functions

Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company standards and CFRs.

Maintain consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty, trip notifications, and required reporting.

Manage and update electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware, applications, navigation charts, and company manuals.

Uphold professional decision-making skills and demonstrate the company’s core values.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical capability to move up to 50 pounds frequently; duties are primarily performed in and around aircraft and terminals.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive functions.
Preferred Qualifications

Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the previous 24 months.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $124,000 to $160,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft size, relevant education, training, and experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability insurance.
