Pilot in Command or Second in Command - Gulfstream G200
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a subsidiary of NetJets and part of the world's largest private aviation infrastructure, seeks qualified candidates for a Pilot in Command or Second in Command position on a Gulfstream G200 aircraft based at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (KFTW).
This is a three-pilot account supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician. The aircraft operates on EJM's P135 certificate and flies approximately 450 hours per year. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Purpose of Position:
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is ultimately responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. The PIC adheres to all company and regulatory requirements while providing an exceptional service experience for passengers.
The Second in Command (SIC) is responsible to the Chief Pilot for all assigned duties related to the safe and efficient execution of flight assignments. The SIC reports to the assigned PIC for all duties assigned during a scheduled trip.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:
- Comply with company and regulatory requirements for crewing and trip assignments.
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks as needed.
- Lead required briefings using the Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) methodology to mitigate operational risks.
- Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel as required. Act as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator as defined by company policy.
- Complete all pre-flight aircraft inspections, including assessing the maintenance status to ensure mission capability. Record any aircraft discrepancies in accordance with company SOPs.
- Monitor and ensure all aircraft ground servicing items (e.g., fueling, oil, oxygen) are completed in accordance with SOPs.
- Conduct passenger briefings as per company policy and regulations. Provide the highest level of customer service and accommodate any special passenger needs (e.g., physically challenged).
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.
Delivering Exceptional Service Experience:
- Provide high-quality service to owners and passengers while actively seeking opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience.
- Regularly investigate and resolve any service deviations.
- Collaborate with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to provide a consistent service experience for owners and passengers. Resolve conflicts and challenges effectively.
Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:
- Maintain all regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience.
- Comply with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and report any safety or non-compliance concerns through appropriate channels.
Years of Experience:
4-6 years of experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs):
- Prior experience in corporate/business aviation.
- FAA Type rating G200 (preferred).
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Local candidates will be given preference.
- Must meet the minimum requirements for either PIC or SIC:
Minimum PIC Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2,000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours
- ATP License
Minimum SIC Time Requirements:
- ATP License
- Total Flight Time: 2,500 hours
- Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 500 hours
- Instrument: 150 hours
- Jet: 250 hours
- Turbine Engine: 100 hours
