Pilot in Command – Gulfstream G200 – Jet Linx Aviation
Jet Linx Aviation seeks a highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) for our super midsize Gulfstream G200 aircraft, operating under Part 91 and 135 flight regulations. The successful candidate will be based in Austin, TX, and must reside, or be prepared to relocate, within a two-hour response radius of the base. This full-time position reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot.
Position Summary:
The PIC is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to all Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures. Duties encompass all aspects of flight operations, from pre-flight planning to post-flight reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total PIC Time: 2000 hours
- Multi-Crew Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 1000 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Time: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Essential Functions:
- Meticulous adherence to company and CFR-mandated duty, flight, and rest times.
- Maintaining clear and consistent communication with the company regarding standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficient management and maintenance of electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensuring all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current and up-to-date.
- Maintaining a valid First Class medical certificate.
- Demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making skills in all flight-related situations.
- Embodying and upholding Jet Linx’s core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements:
- Recent (within 24 months) completion of 142 type rating training preferred.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Current passport.
- ATP certificate (or the ability to obtain one).
- First Class Medical Certificate.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and willingness to submit to random drug/alcohol testing.
- Unrestricted travel authorization to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability for work during nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Majority of work performed in and around aircraft and terminals.
