Phenom 300 Second in Command (SIC)
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command for Phenom 300 aircraft to support Part 91 and 135 flight operations. This is a full-time position, home-based on the East Coast (BVT preferred). The ideal candidate resides within the US Eastern time zone and possesses direct commuting ability to BVT and other major markets.
The Second in Command (SIC) reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and assists in preparing for and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Position Summary:
The Second in Command will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of Jet Linx aircraft.
Minimum Requirements:
- Total Time - 1500 hours
- Total PIC - 500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine - 500 hours
- Total PIC Multi-Engine - 25 hours
- Total Turbine - 100 hours
- Total Instrument – 150 hours
Essential Functions:
- Manages duty, flight, and rest times to comply with company and CFR requirements.
- Maintains communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintains and manages electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications.
- Ensures navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
- Maintains a current 1st Class medical certificate.
- Conveys strong, proactive decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates Jet Linx’s core values in all interactions.
Other Requirements:
- Initial or Recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- Must possess a current passport.
- Must possess an ATP (or ability to obtain ATP).
- Must possess a 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- Must possess an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required.
- Must possess the unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Must be able to release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The majority of work is completed in and around aircraft and aircraft terminals.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
