Second in Command (SIC) – Phenom 300

Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Second in Command (SIC) for Phenom 300 Light Jet aircraft to support Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside in an area with access to daily non-stop flights to major U.S. hubs.
Position Summary
The Second in Command reports to the Base Chief Pilot and plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in strict compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements

Total Time: 1,500 hours

Total PIC: 500 hours

Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours

Total PIC Multi-Engine: 25 hours

Total Turbine: 100 hours

Total Instrument: 150 hours
Essential Functions
-
Manage duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company standards and CFRs.

Coordinate with the company regarding standby duty, trip notifications, position calls, and all required flight reporting.

Manage and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.

Ensure all navigation charts, company manuals, and publications remain current.

Maintain a current 1st Class Medical Certificate.

Exhibit proactive decision-making skills and uphold Jet Linx core values.
Other Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Ability to obtain an ATP certificate.

Possession of a current passport and FCC Restricted Radio License.

Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license and provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.

Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database review.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug/alcohol testing.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds in and around aircraft and terminals.

Preferred: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $89,000 to $125,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft specifications, education, training, and professional experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
