Pilot in Command - Light Jet (Part 91 & 135 Operations)
A qualified and experienced aviation professional is sought for the position of Pilot in Command aboard a Light jet aircraft. This role is integral to the company's Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
The Pilot in Command is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of flight operations, including:
- Managing flight, duty, and rest periods in strict compliance with both company regulations and all applicable Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).
- Maintaining continuous and reliable communication with company dispatch and operations, handling responsibilities such as acknowledging standby duty assignments, receiving trip notifications, providing accurate position reports, and submitting required pre- and post-flight reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Prospective candidates must meet or exceed the following flight experience minimums:
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Multi-Engine Flight Time: 1500 hours
- Total Time in Type: 250 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC) Time in Type: 250 hours
Location:
The ideal candidate will reside within the US Eastern Time Zone and possess direct commuting capabilities to BTV and other significant operational markets.
