Pilot in Command – Challenger 300/350
Jet Linx is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pilot in Command (PIC) for a full-time position based in Scottsdale, Arizona. This pivotal role involves operating Super Midsize Challenger 300/350 jet aircraft for both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of all company flights, reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot. A commitment to residing within a two-hour call-out radius of the Scottsdale home base, or a willingness to relocate, is essential.
Position Summary
As a Pilot in Command, the individual will be entrusted with comprehensive flight preparation and the meticulous operation of company aircraft, strictly adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures. This role demands exceptional leadership, proactive decision-making, and a steadfast dedication to the highest standards of aviation safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of duty, flight, and rest times in strict compliance with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Maintains continuous communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Proficiently maintains and manages Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications, ensuring their optimal functionality.
- Verifies the currency of all required navigation charts, aviation publications, and company operational manuals.
- Sustains a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate without interruption.
- Consistently demonstrates strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational scenarios.

Minimum Flight Experience Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2000 hours
- Total PIC in Type (Challenger 300/350): 250 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: 1000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Turbine Time: 1000 hours
- Total Turbine PIC Time: 1000 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
- Total Jet Time: 1500 hours
- Total Jet PIC Time: 500 hours
Qualifications and Additional Requirements
- Initial or Recurrent Part 142 training in Challenger 300/350 type within the last 24 months is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current, valid passport.
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate, or the ability to obtain one.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing as required by regulations.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally to all European Union, Canadian, and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to authorize and successfully pass a thorough FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The majority of work will be conducted within and around aircraft and airport terminal environments.
- Capable of frequently moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx offers a highly competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package to its valued team members. The starting base annual salary for this Pilot in Command position ranges from $160,000 to $245,000, with the actual compensation package dependent upon geographic location, specific aircraft size (crew positions), and the candidate's relevant education, training, and experience.
