Jet Linx is seeking a highly qualified Second in Command (SIC) to operate heavy jet aircraft for both Part 91 and 135 flight operations. The ideal candidate will reside in or be willing to relocate to the base area, specifically within a two-hour call-out radius of their designated home base.
Position Summary
The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 3500 hours total flight time.
- A minimum of 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
- A minimum of 250 hours total time in type.
- A minimum of 250 hours PIC time in type.
- A minimum of 1500 hours total multi-engine flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours multi-engine PIC flight time.
- Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proactive decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the past 24 months is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must possess a current passport.
- Must possess an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the ability to obtain one.
- Must possess a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must possess an FCC Restricted Radio License.
