Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill a Corporate Flight Attendant position. This role, based in Dulles, Virginia, requires an individual with a strong commitment to safety, exceptional customer service, and a meticulous attention to detail. The position is onsite with a flexible work arrangement.
The Corporate Flight Attendant will perform duties as assigned by the pilot-in-command, ensuring passenger safety and comfort at all times. This includes directing and providing emergency assistance to passengers when necessary, administering basic first aid, CPR, and using an AED on passengers and crew in distress. The incumbent is responsible for conducting aircraft pre-flight procedures, ensuring all safety, galley, and cabin equipment are prepared for flight. They will ensure passenger briefings meet or exceed FAA regulations and diligently follow company checklists for aircraft pre/post-flight procedures. Adherence to company policies and procedures, as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Standard Operating Procedures Manual (SOP), and all Corporate policy manuals, is mandatory. Providing exceptional in-flight service is a core function of this role. Additionally, the incumbent will clean and prepare the aircraft cabin and storage areas, maintain galley stores and cabin supplies, and submit all required paperwork, timesheets, and receipts promptly. Additional duties may be assigned.
Preference is given to candidates with Flight Attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar accredited institutions, ideally completed within the past 12 months. Candidates without formal training may be considered based on other qualifications but must attend an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment.
A high school diploma and at least one year of prior experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant, or comparable experience with an airline or commercial carrier, is required.
The successful candidate must be capable of lifting and moving up to 62 pounds to manage emergency exits, passenger baggage, and life rafts during emergencies. A valid U.S. driver’s license is necessary, along with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. The ability to stand for extended periods while performing duties and execute emergency evacuation procedures is crucial. Additional preferences include food handling and culinary training, as well as in-flight medical training (CPR/AED/BBP) completed within the last 12 months. The individual must not have any travel restrictions related to passport, VISA, or health status. Flexibility to work at the Flight Operations facility during weekdays, weekends, night shifts, and holidays is required. They must be technically proficient to operate complex cabin systems, fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless medical or religious exceptions apply), and reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Sterling, Virginia. This position requires a high level of attention to detail.
