An exceptional opportunity exists for a highly dedicated and experienced aviation professional to join our team as a Corporate Flight Attendant. This pivotal role ensures the paramount safety, comfort, and premium service experience for passengers aboard corporate aircraft. The Flight Attendant is entrusted with direct responsibility for cabin safety both on the ground and during flight, upholding the highest standards of operational excellence and passenger care. This position is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, requiring proximity to Lunken Airport.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Flight Attendant's primary responsibility is the overall safety of the passengers, with secondary duties encompassing comprehensive passenger service throughout flight operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Assuming direct responsibility for all aspects of cabin safety and security protocols, in strict adherence to the P&G Global Flight Operations Safety Management System.
- Proficiently performing all duties and functions outlined in the Global Flight Operations Manual, Standard Operational Procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and Operational Specifications, maintaining a high level of proficiency in all applicable documents.
- Taking decisive charge in emergency situations, including effective execution of emergency evacuations.
- Delivering a superior level of onboard customer service, demonstrating a comprehensive working knowledge of aircraft safety operations.
- Managing all aspects of cabin service, including the professional preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Overseeing the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the aircraft cabin, including meticulous pre and post-flight cleaning and restocking of the galley and onboard supplies.
- Acting as a crucial liaison with aircraft caterers and ground handling staff at destination airports, ensuring seamless service and operational support.
- Managing daily commissary stock and supplies, including purchasing, maintaining freshness of perishable items, and establishing standard stock and storage locations for aircraft cabins.
- Handling aircraft bedding materials, ensuring supplies are current and prepared for international trips.
- Collaborating with company medical and medical vendors to ensure all aircraft emergency and medical equipment is current and compliant.
- Working with the management team on the outfitting and provisioning of new aircraft.
- Providing the Material Coordinator with accurate lists of required supplies and quantities for ordering and re-ordering, and maintaining comprehensive aircraft cabin inventory books.
- Familiarity with and capable handling of on-board connectivity systems for passengers and cabin, with the ability to establish and resolve connectivity issues.
- Contributing feedback on standard operating procedures for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engaging in continuous education in leadership and fulfilling other duties as required to support the mission of Global Flight Operations.
Job Qualifications
Education and Training
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, equivalent experience will be given full consideration.
- Possession of a valid U.S. Passport is required.
- Completion of Flight Safety International, FACTS, or equivalent formal training for Corporate Flight Attendant certification is essential.
Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of operational experience within business aviation is required.
- Demonstrated expertise in Cabin Safety and Emergency procedures.
- Proven experience in Safe Food Handling, Catering ordering, and preparation.
- Track record of effective communication in an operational environment.
Skills and Attributes
- Must possess exceptional decision-making ability, coupled with strong managerial, administrative, and analytical skills.
- Superior oral and written communication skills are paramount for effective interaction with passengers, crew, and ground personnel.
- Extensive operational experience, typically achieved as a flight crew member, is highly valued.
- Profound knowledge of high-level customer service delivery.
- Demonstrated success in working within teams, complemented by excellent leadership and motivational skills.
- A proactive, take-charge personality, particularly effective in emergency situations.
- Demonstrated external focus and adaptability.
- Ability to manage long hours, irregular schedules, and potential jet lag, especially for international flights.
- Physical capability to lift 60 pounds.
- Must currently reside within Cincinnati, OH, within two (2) hours of Lunken Airport, or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement.
- Capable of working effectively under high-pressure conditions, such as in-flight emergencies or demanding VIP service requirements.
