A crucial member of the Cabin Crew Team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall satisfaction of all passengers onboard flights departing from London Stansted Airport. This position requires a proactive individual who embraces teamwork and contributes to maintaining the airline's award-winning reputation through the delivery of exceptional customer service.
This position offers a competitive compensation package, including an excellent on-target earnings potential of £32,000 plus, pro-rata for the contract length, encompassing a generous commission scheme and additional payments such as Flight Duty & Sector Pay. Additional benefits include no upfront fees for the Cabin Crew Training Course; discounts on Jet2holidays and other holidays and flights; free uniform and car parking at the base airport; a contributory pension scheme and life assurance scheme of 3 x annual salary; 37 days of holiday entitlement per annum, pro-rata (including Bank Holidays); and an Employee Assistance Programme, providing support and counselling for the employee and their family.
Key responsibilities for this role include delivering high-quality care, including first aid and general passenger assistance; ensuring the safety and security of all passengers and colleagues on every flight; being present and creating memorable onboard experiences through friendly customer service; and driving sales by promoting in-flight products through exceptional service.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, possess clear and engaging communication skills, exhibit a strong awareness of the importance of safety at all times, maintain a high level of attention to detail, be motivated to achieve sales targets, work effectively as part of a team, and comply with health and safety regulations, including the ability to fasten the safety harness for the Crew Jump Seat and meet reach requirements.
This full-time, fixed-term contract role requires flexibility due to the airline's 24/7 operation, with working hours varying each week and including very early starts and late finishes. To qualify for this position, candidates must provide full references for the last 5 years and clear satisfactory criminal record checks. Successful candidates will be required to complete the airline's CAA-approved 4-week training course. This will provide the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the position.
