Flight Attendant for Private Global Jets
IAC/Expedia Global, the flight department management company for IAC and Expedia, seeks an experienced and service-oriented Flight Attendant to join their team. Based out of Teterboro, NJ, this full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional in-flight service aboard the company's Global 6000, Global 7500, and Legacy 450 aircraft.
Responsibilities:
The Flight Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of company executives and their guests during both domestic and international travel. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing impeccable wait service, including food and beverage preparation and presentation.
- Anticipating and proactively attending to the needs of all passengers with discretion and a high level of confidentiality.
- Meticulous cabin management, including budgeting, provisioning, and maintaining a pristine environment pre and post-flight.
- Performing light cooking, bartending, and housekeeping duties as required.
- Managing luggage, coordinating ground transportation, and assisting with hotel check-in/check-out procedures for executives.
- Conducting pre-flight safety checks and ensuring compliance with all FAA regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a high-end hospitality setting, with a background in fine dining or catering preferred.
- Ability to travel extensively, up to 200 days per year, including weekends and holidays.
- Valid passport and authorization to work and travel within the United States.
- Impeccable customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to maintain professionalism in a demanding environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage and supplies up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Extensive international travel experience.
- Fluency in additional languages.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
