Flight Attendant - St. Louis, Missouri
GoJet Airlines seeks enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join its team as Flight Attendants, providing exceptional service on a 50-passenger CRJ-550 aircraft operating as United Express.
Job Overview:
As a GoJet Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining safety and security throughout the flight, from boarding to deplaning. You will deliver outstanding customer service, creating a memorable experience for every passenger.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Two years of customer service experience is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, including making announcements and giving emergency instructions.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid Passport, driver's license or state ID, and Social Security card.
- Must possess the legal right to travel unrestricted to/from all states and countries (including Canada).
- Must reside within 100 miles of the St. Louis, MO base.
- Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment.
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
- Able to attend up to six weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO.
- Able to be on call and available for duty in the assigned base (reserve duty). Reserve duty may continue for an undetermined number of years.
- Must adhere to uniform standards and guidelines and maintain a professional and conservative appearance. Tattoos and body piercings are acceptable if related to religious beliefs, but those on hands, face, and neck or visible in business attire are not permitted.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and lift heavy objects.
- Long periods of standing and speaking.
- Ability to work in small, confined spaces and tolerate turbulence, dry air, and varying noise levels from aircraft engines.
- Extensive travel, including consecutive nights away from home and exposure to all climates.
- Alternative work schedules including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; provide friendly reception to all customers.
- Must be able to professionally represent the GoJet Airlines brand while in the Flight Attendant uniform.
- Direct engagement with customers through outstanding communication skills, public speaking, good judgment, and the ability to resolve issues with understanding, compassion, and perseverance.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage of $19.58.
- Minimum of 75 hours per month.
- $2.00 per hour per diem.

Training:
Successful candidates will undergo a company-paid training program at the Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO. The program, approximately five to six weeks in length (depending on class size), includes hands-on evaluation in the aircraft.
GoJet Flight Attendant candidates will be provided two complimentary training courses through the Inflight Institute. One short supplemental video course is mandatory prior to the interview, and a pre-course must be completed with a minimum score of 80% to be eligible for in-person training in St. Louis. These modules help future flight attendants understand the journey they are about to embark on.
The Inflight Institute offers many supplemental and aircraft courses, although these are not mandatory for an interview.
