Experienced Rotorcraft Pilot (Heli-EMS/Air Medical)
The organization seeks a highly experienced and safety-focused Rotorcraft Pilot to join its specialized air medical transport team. This critical role involves collaborating closely with medical professionals to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of patients requiring critical care services. The successful candidate must maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- The Pilot is responsible for the safe and expeditious transportation of patients between specified locations and medical facilities, operating in close coordination with a highly skilled team of medical experts.
- Must meticulously ensure aircraft readiness for all flight dispatches, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and all applicable Company procedures and operational manuals.
- Required to maintain superior standards of aircraft cleanliness and presentation, ensuring the aircraft is prepared and organized for immediate dispatch at all times.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Certifications and Licensing
- Holds a current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate.
- Possesses a valid Helicopter Instrument Rating.
- Maintains a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
Flight Experience
- A minimum of 2,000 hours of total rotorcraft flight time.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in helicopters.
