Job Summary General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a provider of military and commercial engineering services. GA-SI is a leading-edge expert in systems integration technologies, reliability improvements, and controls system design.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Flight Operations Aircrew Lead to join our Aero Services division to support MQ-1C Gray Eagle operations, in Dugway, UT.This position is responsible for providing leadership to a team through all phases up to and including deployment. In accordance with organizational goals, and following established policies and procedures, coordinates subordinate activities to meet established training requirements as well as executes flight mission planning, briefs and debriefs, and risk management. Develops up to date accurate documentation and reports to reflect team activity. May participate in the planning, selection, retention, and development of staff. Represents the team to management and gives presentations as required.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
+ Leads and directs a team through all phases from pre-deployment through deployment, ensuring all required training and administrative tasks are complete.
+ Conducts risk management.
+ Administers and executes briefings.
+ Develops and presents accurate and timely reports, plans drafting and technical writing.
+ May participate in the planning, selection, retention, and development of staff.
+ Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
+ Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
+ Additional functions and other duties as assigned or required.
+ Prior military aviation experience is highly desired.
+ FAA Pilot certificate is highly desirable.

Job Qualifications:
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field as well as six or more years progressively complex technical experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
+ Must demonstrate an understanding of mission deployment including flight mission planning, briefs and debriefs, risk management and U.S. deployment briefs training; leadership skills including organizing, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadline or milestones; and the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.
+ Must possess the ability to resolve non-routine management and technical problems.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings.
+ Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees and management.
+ The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
+ Good computer skills.
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
+ Prior military aviation experience is highly desired.
+ FAA Pilot certificate is highly desirable.
+ Previous deployment experience is highly desirable.
