The Opportunity:
Frontier Airlines seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Supervisor, Inflight Base, located in Dallas. This role is critical to the effective operation of the Flight Attendant base, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and the highest standards of performance from the base team. The Supervisor, Inflight Base, serves as a key leader, responsible for managing daily operations, personnel, and contributing to the overall success of the Inflight department.
Key Responsibilities:
The Supervisor, Inflight Base, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Flight Attendant base operations. Key duties include:
- Supervising all phases of Flight Attendant operations at the assigned base.
- Analyzing and evaluating base operating performance and implementing corrective actions.
- Providing 24/7 availability for on-call duties.
- Managing Crew Scheduling and resolving Flight Attendant scheduling conflicts.
- Coordinating DOT drug and alcohol testing and notifications with the Anti-drug & Alcohol Program Administrator.
- Managing the distribution and correct entry/uploading of revisions and bid packets for assigned Flight Attendants.
- Administering performance and attendance reporting and implementing corrective action.
- Following up on base Inflight delays and contacting Flight Attendants for emergency situations outside of regular hours.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for base catering and Point of Sale (POS) issues.
- Providing technical guidance related to POS and the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM).
- Participating in charter calls, coordinating required services, preparing, and distributing charter information sheets.
- Assisting with the coordination of scheduled and charter catering.
- Interpreting and applying company and local policies and procedures.
- Administering the Flight Attendant collective bargaining agreement.
- Directing crew appreciation events at the base.
- Completing and submitting budgets and justifications as required.
- Completing all required paperwork for Human Resources and Safety departments, including ensuring timely submissions via systems like WBAT.
- Maintaining Flight Attendant qualifications and performing check Flight Attendant duties.
- Flying trips monthly from multiple bases to maintain currency and perspective.
- Acting as the onsite Inflight emergency response representative for base and area operations.
- Determining and justifying personnel, facility, and equipment needs, and ensuring their effective and cost-efficient utilization.
- Seeking opportunities to enhance Frontier's local relationships through community involvement.
- Assisting with Flight Attendant recruiting sessions and conducting uniform guideline training for new hires.
- Participating as an ASAP ERC member upon assignment.
- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Director or Manager of Inflight Services.
- Required travel as needed.
Direct Reports:
This position directly supervises Flight Attendants (200+).
Qualifications:
- A college degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
- Must be able to qualify as a Flight Attendant and maintain currency of qualifications.
- Current Inflight or airline experience is preferred.
- Previous management or leadership experience is desired.
- Knowledge of human resource management, Crew Scheduling, and working with collective bargaining agreements is desired.

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $60,200 - $75,250.
