Cabin Crew Manager
Role Overview:
The Cabin Crew Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and welfare of assigned cabin crew members. This role ensures the consistent delivery of flydubai's high standards in safety, service, and customer experience onboard, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned cabin crew teams, monitoring attendance and conduct, and providing regular feedback and performance reviews.
- Conducts informal meetings to address areas of concern and initiates formal disciplinary procedures when necessary.
- Performs regular assessments, probation meetings, and development reviews, identifying performance gaps, recognising achievements, and creating tailored development plans.
- Serves as the primary support contact for crew welfare, addressing personal and professional needs, including conflict resolution, welfare concerns, and offering guidance on career progression and well-being.
- Manages complex physical, psychological, and domestic issues affecting cabin crew members, providing continuous support and guidance.
- Collaborates closely with Human Resources to investigate and resolve disciplinary and grievance issues in accordance with company policies and standards.
- Investigates incidents related to customer feedback (complaints, compliments) and behavioral concerns, ensuring policy compliance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Fosters a positive work culture through active engagement with cabin crew, encouraging feedback and facilitating open communication.
- Provides essential support to the 24/7 operations team during critical incidents or disruptions, ensuring cabin crew well-being during crises.
- Works closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Safety teams to align strategies for customer service excellence and operational efficiency, representing crew interests and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Acts as a representative for the Crew Management team in corporate operational projects, providing direct support and development to cabin crew to maintain operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3 years).
- Fluency in English is required.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of total professional experience.
- Includes at least 2 years of experience in large team leadership, preferably within aviation operations.
- Experience should include roles demanding quick decision-making, resilience, and familiarity with employee relations, specifically handling complex performance cases and disciplinary issues.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a flydubai Senior Cabin Crew Member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Information Security Requirements:
The role requires compliance with the Company's Information Security (ISR) policies. This includes diligently reporting any weaknesses or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team, completing required ISR awareness sessions, and adhering to associated guidelines in daily business operations.
