Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cabin Crew Member to act as an ambassador for the airline, promoting a positive corporate image and ensuring customer loyalty. The Cabin Crew Member will provide exceptional customer service to all passengers while prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle. The ideal candidate will be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights.
- Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures and ensuring their comfort at all times.
- Identifying and reporting safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action.
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book.
- Providing excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties according to established policies and procedures.
- Maximizing on-board revenue and promoting the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting meals, products, and charity services.
- Ensuring the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assisting in maintaining a thoroughly cleaned aircraft cabin at transit stations and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
- Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per policies and procedures, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any problems or discrepancies.
- Reporting on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and performing the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 26 years for candidates without prior Cabin Crew experience; up to 33 years for experienced Cabin Crew.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
